I am a graphic & motion designer who translates concepts and ideas through visual narratives. As a child, my first introductions to my passion were displayed by designing various items for my friends. It began with comic book covers, drawing on CDs, and illustrations on the underside of skateboards. I enjoyed it when my friends and others would ask for my artwork and see it around school. Learning the value of pulling one’s weight to get the work done for the team is something I admire in a career choice. Being a Marine, working with a team is paramount to the goal, and it is a rewarding feeling. The importance of graphic design is creating a visual connection that gets people to notice, take the time to absorb the information, and remember the impact. My role is reinforcing the message and shaping public understanding of the product and design. I have seen the impact of new technology and how it influences pop culture design. Digital art is a great tool for the right artist. The two tools of education and passion have helped me comprehend design and the fundamentals keep me updated on industry trends. These skills have helped me identify the best tools to sharpen my skills to help achieve the best final result.
