Leslie Askew is the founder of Askew Pictures a documentary and television production focusing on compassionate storytelling. Founded in 2011 Leslie brings over 20 years of experience in television and documentary production in the U.S., Europe, and Australia. She has worked on the award-winning documentary series, CNN Heroes with major networks including ITV (UK), SBS (Australia), Channel Nine (Australia), National Geographic, Al Jazeera, CBS, BET, PBS, and the History Channel. In 2019, she independently produced, filmed, and edited, “Analog Man”, which won best documentary at the ARFF International Film Festival in Berlin. In 2021, Askew Pictures developed and Executive Produced a six-part travel series, entitled ‘Trail Towns’ for the Australian network SBS. Our most recent production,follows animal rights activist Joey Carbstorng as he goes undercover to expose the pork industry in the UK. “Pignorant” is now available on Amazon Prime.
