My name is Lucía Nogales Montero, and I study Communications and Digital Media student at IE University in Madrid. I'm passionate about visual storytelling, content creation, and strategic communication. Being fluent in Spanish (native), English (bilingual proficiency), and Italian (advanced), I’m able to navigate and contribute to projects in diverse and global environments. Over the course of my academic journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work on various projects and internships that have honed my skills in communication strategies, digital marketing, and content management. During my summer internship at Endesa, I supported the Communications team in the Brand, Sponsorships, and Content Management areas, helping to identify opportunities and actions using Monday.com. I also gained valuable experience in coordinating cross-departmental content meetings, managing sponsorships, and understanding global communication efforts in one of Spain’s largest electric utility companies. I'm also involved as a social media manager and videographer for the IE Weightlifting Club, where I oversee the club’s online presence, inspire participation, and work with tools like Instagram, Canva, and Google Slides. Additionally, I serve as the Videographer and Content Editor for Spain's Premier Arm Wrestling Team, where I create and manage content for the team's social media platforms. My passion for supporting others is reflected in my role as a Mentorship Society Member, where I guide and assist incoming students, sharing my knowledge and insights to ease their transition. Public speaking is another area I enjoy, having earned second prize in a university Public Speaking Contest. My expertise includes content creation, photography, video production, visual storytelling, and photo/video editing with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Canva. I’m also proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Monday.com, and WordPress. Outside of work and academics, I love reading, especially books on social psychology, nutrition, and communication. I’m also passionate about physical exercise, with a strong interest in Latin dancing, TED talks, video editing, and baking. I’m always looking for new ways to apply my creativity and communication skills to contribute to meaningful, mission-driven projects.
