Hi all, thanks for visiting my profile. I'm Mark, a live event freelancer, sound engineer, and AI researcher who has just finished my final year of studying creative music production at IADT. Working as a freelancer in the events industry has garnered me opportunities to work on some of Ireland's biggest shows, such as Electric Picnic, and also production roles in the UK. A newfound passion discovered in my final year of study is dealing with the ethical implications of AI in the music industry. I am working closely with industry leaders across the world to help set guidelines and legislation to put the best interests of musicians first! Along with these aforementioned endeavours, I am also a recording engineer, producer, and mix and mastering engineer. I currently work with several clients as well as my endeavours, all under the umbrella of the production company I co-founded Kabinc Productions. I am highly skilled in multiple software programs, including Pro Tools, Ableton, FMOD Studio (Along with Unity integration), Csound and The Cabbage Audio Development Framework. Additionally, I have experience working with a range of both digital and analog consoles. My interests also lie in the audio programming industry, as I am highly proficient in both CSound and Cabbage. This led me to create the world's first sampler with a sample bank of purely ultrasonic sounds.
