After graduating from the Cinema School of Tunis, Marwen immediately ventured into the professional world of filmmaking as a senior editor. His debut feature-length creative documentary, The Black Memory, showcased his editing prowess and set the stage for his future success. Since then, he has contributed his expertise as a senior editor to numerous projects. His portfolio encompasses a wide range of genres, including five feature documentaries, one feature docudrama, four short documentaries, a 30-episode documentary series, and eight short fiction films. Marwen's exceptional work has garnered significant recognition. Beyond his own projects, Marwen is dedicated to sharing his expertise. He has collaborated with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs), including DW (Deutsche Welle), Alkhatt, MediaHub, and, more recently, TACIR, conducting workshops and mentoring individuals of all ages. These workshops have empowered and inspired participants, allowing them to explore the art of filmmaking, storytelling, and editing under his guidance. Furthermore, Marwen’s passion for education has led him to work as an editing trainer at three different universities.
