I began my career as a freelance designer in the mid 1980s, working on music and pop culture projects before joining IPC Magazines. I was then headhunted by the BBC to help launch its youth publishing division and developed the corporation’s first ever weekly magazine. [title]
After five years at the BBC, I went back to freelancing and diversified into food branding, working with clients such as Holsten and Jose Cuervo. [needs a third one – maybe the Yorkshire Soup people to give it ‘small people’ balance]
Now based in Wiltshire, I have worked with the Guild of Fine Food for more than 15 years as the company’s art director – across its print titles and digital platforms – with a particular focus on raising and maintaining the visual profile of major activities such as Great Taste and the World Cheese Awards.
