My name is Nia Samuels, I am currently undergoing my MA Fine Art degree at the University of the West of England, at which I also completed my BA Art & Writing degree (2:1). I am a multidisciplinary artist who specialises in painting, modelmaking, installation, photography and drawing. The way in which I channel these mediums is often through the illustration of symbolic and conceptual ideas that are subsumed by themes of emotions, consciousness and whimsy. As I work creatively in a multitude of ways, I am more than open for my clients to approach me with any kind of base idea with which we can discuss and develop into a successful project. The word I produce can be described as quite graphic and maintaining an almost consistent commitment to exploring colour and composition. Furthermore, I also work digitally and produce graphic art prints using software such as GIMP, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and SAI Paint Tool. I have had my work featured in the online store of HEAPDaily Artshop journal as well as being a main artist of Exploring Black: The Expression of Art and Style Exhibition (14.04.23), curated by Mahalia Sobers. I have been apart of various collaborative projects within and outside of my course, whereby my artwork has existed in spaces with like minded practitioners.
