I'm a Liverpool based designer who gets excited by the odd things in life. Since re-skilling in 2020, I've been learning all things to do with all kinds of creative work and working on projects building up my experience and expertise, with the goal of getting me as skilful in design as I am mad about it. Recently, I've found success freelancing as a video / audio editor, and motion designer for a variety of different projects. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I made the change to design in 2020 when the world was turned upside down. Prior to then, I lived in Canada, New Zealand and Australia working in hospitality on the Working Holiday visas for each country. Most of my work experience has been in hospitality, where I became a true all-rounder. Every employer I have had has trusted me with many responsibilities in each venue, due to my work ethic, ability to communicate empathetically and appropriately to customers in every situation, continuously positive outlook and relaxed manner in the depths of high pressure situations. All throughout this time, I was creating music and developing skills in music and video production softwares, as well as beginning my interest in design. In October 2021, I took part in a UX / UI bootcamp in Barcelona with Cyber Patio. This gave me a broad overview of the fields of UX / UI. My skills as a researcher, as well as visual designer make me the full package for any team. I am currently on the look out for freelance projects, but open to full and part time opportunities with the right companies that excite me and align with my values, and appreciation of the weird. Due my interest in music and video production, I've become highly computer literate using multiple softwares and I'm always open to learning more, especially outside of my usual interests.
