Hello, I’m a curious, energetic and resilient American woman writer, artist and musician currently living in Berlin, Germany. I love motion; physical (dance & water sports), geographical (travel & cultural exploration) and intellectual (education & language).I speak conversational German, French & Spanish. I’m a portrait artist, piano player (classical) and electric bass guitar player (alternative), compose electronic music using Propellerhead ‘Reason’ piggybacked onto Ableton ‘Live’. I create the music using my keyboard knowledge and love of percussion. My enduring fascination and love of the creatures who share this world, has steered me into a niche incorporating animal call recordings which I loop into songs; featuring the animal calls as instruments. My appreciation and value of the natural world infuses my interest in science, as well as the social, political and economic landscapes of history, in which the natural world is imprisoned. Meaning, until the people value the living world in a very personal and emotional way, with an urgency to protect it, they will continue to objectify it, rather than value the living entity in itself, due to anthropocentric tendencies to adhere to sociological structures (money) which subjugate the living world, as a resource to use and means of profit. There are a plethora of alternatives of production which harmonize with the systems of the natural world. If we continue on the destructive path of adhering to Capitalism which requires continue profit and building, we will destroy the fabric of what we all love, a beautiful, clean and magical planet. I create to inspire people to adore and respect the living entities (which fuel our imagination and fascination) to spiral them into action, to proactively STOP, LOOK, LISTEN, FEEL and CREATE, participating in an individual and collective rejuvenation of our entire living earth. When we recognize that healthy soil, waters, trees and all living entities are in a kinship with us personally, and with one another, we will be open to one another again, to share, rather than alienation through a mass hypnosis of ecological and social amnesia.
