A story that I wrote after months spent admiring the beautiful recovered company waste as a volunteer at ReMida Bologna_Terre d'Acqua (http://www.remidabologna.it/en/). I took the pictures and added a touch of illustration while graphic designer Andrea Pirondini worked on photo editing and text insertion. In 2020, it became a self-published photographic children's book, which was also read in Italian, English (both versions written by myself), Spanish (translated by Maria Grazia Massa), and German (translated by Lydia Buchner) and published on YouTube by ReMida. The organization also uses it for artistic and environmental education workshops at their center and in schools. Printed only upon request, with a slow process, on certified, 100% recycled paper, and with natural wax ink. Don't say it's a waste of time because its characters may take it personally!
