Owen Megura is a recent graduate from the University of Nevada-Reno who got his B.A. in Journalism. Throughout his three-year college career, he has worked on over a dozen short film projects, documentaries, and commercial video. He was briefly a commercial videographer for NSHE and created professional-grade advertising videos for his college campus. He received the Doris Sinofsky Outstanding Electronic Media Student Award at the 2023 Savitt Awards hosted by the Reynold's School of Journalism, and just recently, his film, "The Progression of Time" (2021) was officially selected in the 2023 San Diego Independent Filmmaker's Festival. Throughout his career so far, he has explored many different genres including drama, horror, thriller, and experimental pieces. He loves everything about content creation and film production, and is currently writing his first feature film.
