uniE613 Revisiting Time: 5 Years of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
In February 2018, we began filming the largest project we had ever attempted up until that point. We weren't quite sure where it would take us, literally and figuratively, but the result was a thrilling 3-part time travel adventure with a runtime of over 30 minutes. It took us over a year to write, film, and edit all 3 parts. We wrapped filming in March 2019 and premiered the film (featuring 3 alternate endings) at our high school arts festival in May 2019. Though some parts of the original films look amateur to us now, we are still enormously proud of the final product. The year we spent creating this film is one we look back on fondly, and it helped ignite a passion for filmmaking that still burns today. With 5 years having passed since the start of this project, we decided to sit down and reminisce. In this mini-documentary, we explore our sources of inspiration for the project, discuss our filming and editing process, reflect on our favorite and least favorite aspects of the films, and show off a plethora of never-before-scene footage from behind the scenes (including a blooper reel). As always, we thank our friends and family for their continued support of our films. None of it would have been possible without them. https://youtu.be/2k7kP1v4UqY?si=G3pBQ-LhWOhj5Rjo
