I am a producer, DJ, singer and performer from Madrid with more than 30 years of experience. I’m mainly focused on electronic Music but I’ve produced Many genres.: Pop, dance, rock, hiphop, jazz, funk, soul… even soundtracks.
I’ve collaborated with International artists such as Quantic, Tony Allen or Biggabush, my songs appear in international compilations such as Hotel Costes (Stéphane), Trust the DJ (Gilles Peterson) or Chillin’ at the Playboy Mansion (Chris Coco) and my productions are included in movies (even been awarded). Isabel Coixet’s film “Mi Vida Sin Mi” received the Goya for the best original song for “Humans Like You”, produced and composed by me for Chop Suey.
I’ve been creating music for 30 years, playing and performing under different nicknames: (Watch TV, Rock Serling, DYOR, among others) going from jazz to hip hop to techno, electrónica and pop. He has produced songs for both mainstream artists (Miguel Bose, Luz Casal) and alternative (Tony Allen, Beady Belle, Wagon Cookin’, Masters at Work).
I have published on labelsa everywhere (Warner, Universal, Compost, Schema, Wonderwheel, Lovemonk, Rotten City, Hitop, Fino y Gordo, Espacio Cielo), and now has just founded its own record label, Pinorama, with an “out of the box” style that sounds like the heart of an artificial intelligence. The label has unique producers of the Spain’s scene, such as Alvaro Cabana, Dewel, MI.RO, Ivan Smoka, Parissior, Be.Lanuit, Behind The Mountains or Lebollet, and has the support of international artists and media such as Laurent Garnier, DJ
Mag, Marcel Dettmann, Duncan Gray, Moskalus, Klubikon.
He has played in clubs and festivals in half of Europe (Sönar, BBK, FIB, City Jazz Night, Kater Blau). Along with his partner Be.Lanuit, he runs his own monthly club (Absenta) in Madrid for almost 10 years now, being a reference in electronic club scene in the City. He has also been a resident DJ in “Concertos Mini”, a Project of the National Orchestra and Choir that tries to bring the classic closer to the Electronic and vice versa, with artists such as Max Richter, Arvo Pärt or Francesco Tristano.
He has collaborated on video art pieces with other artists (Carlos Aires, Belén Rodríguez), and created together with Alejandro Jaquotot the audiovisual performance Flor de un Día , a show that mixes video art, performance, DJ session and concert, which they performed at the alternative art festival Art Banchel. He also created a show Live with the movie Fahrenheit 451 by François Truffaut, muting the Original soundtrack and creating one of their own live, using the film as a dramatic guide.
