Filmed across four states to capture diverse agricultural practices, Smart Kheti also includes a dramatized segment shot in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, bringing authenticity and relatability to the story. Despite numerous challenges, the film was well-received, winning the second prize from the Ministry. Our team’s call time started at 4:00 AM to ensure we captured the perfect sunrise shot, traveling 80 km from the nearest hotel to reach the site on time. Filming was particularly challenging due to the vast spread of the windmills across the landscape and the logistical demands of covering multiple locations.
