Hey! I'm John (aka Suthy), a Scottish music producer and sample maker. I have worked with various producers and artists at different stages of their career from the newbies to those who are grammy winners/nominees and as of last year (2023) I signed to an international label called Artis Entertainment Group. I make a whole variety of styles of music but find myself mainly in Rap/Hip-Hop. I make a lot of other styles too from the likes of RnB to Pop and use a lot of the techniques from these other areas when I return to making beats. I use a lot of interesting textures and sounds to create unique soundscapes, seeing a combination of instruments (mainly guitar as that is what I play) with more analog sounds like synths. I predominantely use Ableton as my main DAW but have experience in FL Studio also. As of last year I have started releasing my own music so understand the process of putting a project together and then developing it into a full release and how to promote it which has helped a lot when it comes to giving advice from a producer standpoint!…Hey!
