Position Description
A rapidly growing Fintech company in Fort Lauderdale is looking for a technical problem solver. This is not a job, it’s a mission. You must be obsessed with delivering code weekly. The objective is to build and support industry-changing technology for a scrappy tech start-up. Every member of our team counts and we only accept people who are overachievers. This is not a work from home position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Architects, Developers and End Users to solve complex problems
• Be a contributing member of our Salesforce and Full-Stack development team
• Thrive in an agile, fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Maintain development and production environments and properly deploy changes as needed
• Deliver code weekly as part of a SCRUM team
• Attend daily standup meetings with Development team and demo your work each week
• Troubleshoot User issues

Qualifications for Success

• 3+ years’ experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer
• Deep understanding of object oriented programming and experience with at least two object oriented programming languages (Apex, Java, Javascript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python)
• Solid understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and Ajax
• Solid knowledge of Database technologies such as MySQL, SQL, and relational database schema design and development
• Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Python, Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team oriented

Physical Demands
The physical demands of the position are typical of those found in a traditional office environment. Employee will not need to walk significant distances nor lift substantial weight. Employee will need to be able to remain seated at a desk for 8-9 hours in a typical workday.
