Requirements

• Minimum 4-8 years industry experience, preferably in an Agile development environment
• 4 years of Java development experience
• Experience with automated testing tools CA LISA/DevTest, SOAP UI and POSTMAN
• Expertise knowledge in handling SOAP and JSON messaging protocols
• Hand-on on using Swagger and WSDL files to create tests for API calls and events
• Expertise in using HP UFT(QTP) and QC for UI based automation
• Hands-on experience in debugging E2E workflow through API calls
• Experience with source control versioning systems (Git, Stash, Bitbucket.)
• Expertise knowledge in developing and deploying continuous testing and integration through JENKINS, Stash etc.,
• Experience with UI automated tools like Selenium Web driver with Java

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing and documenting Test Automation, including testing estimates and validation tests
• Develop automated tests for features developed in-sprint
• Perform desk checks and code reviews
• Develop, document, and maintain the test strategy and test scenarios
• Partner with the developers to ensure all areas of the application are fully tested and issues are clearly logged and prioritized consistently
• Partner with developers to find technical solutions for test automation
• Certify software functionality for new Production releases
• Work with Integration Build teams to manage dev, QA and production release of software
• Provide exploratory testing to understand the feature and how it is implemented, to find additional or unexpected behavior, and to refine and define additional test cases for the feature

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years industry experience, preferably in an Agile development environment
