VR Sports Elevated Surface Tournament

The plan is to have the athletes performing on top of two adjoined 55gal steel drums that will be welded on top of eachother totaling 68" in height.

To create a safe enviroment, I would like to have an expert give me advice on the breaking of their fall.

Each contestant will have a 10’x10’ area to make sure they have space around them to fall.

Cardboard boxes are cost-efficient and easy to work with so that is why I have contacted you.

My main question is what size/type of boxes i should use to guarantee a painless drop and a safe event.
