Engage & Resonate is seeking a Freelance Producer with a background in both live event/experiential and content production. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong client-service and hands-on production experience, particularly in consumer-facing activations. They must have a successful track record of managing high-profile projects and events, excellent multitasking abilities, leadership skills, and solid vendor and client service capabilities. Experience with CPG, lifestyle, and retail brands is preferred. This position is based in Chicago and requires full-time availability at the office throughout the contract duration.

Responsibilities:

Production:

• Manage and execute multi-channel projects, including live experiential events, video/content production, and social and digital-driven initiatives.
• Develop a detailed plan of action and ensure smooth project execution during all phases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and manage deliverables and deadlines, meeting project goals and expectations.
• Manage production staff, assign responsibilities, and set deadlines and deliverables.
• Translate creative ideas into project plans and deliverables.
• Ensure innovative and strategically relevant integrated event solutions that build brand equity and deliver results for clients.
• Oversee project tracking and documentation.
• Develop and manage budgets, handle vendor contract and fee negotiations, and ensure billing and invoicing compliance.
• Manage onsite teams to ensure seamless installation and execution.
• Travel as required for projects and events nationwide.

Project Management:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to meet and maintain client priorities and objectives throughout production/execution.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication between internal team members, clients, and suppliers.
• Understand and effectively convey team and client vision, direction, and needs to 3rd party suppliers.
• Manage client needs and expectations, building strong client relationships through superior execution.
• Assist in the development and refinement of Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, and Vendor Agreements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a lead Producer of integrated experiential marketing events and campaigns.
• Client-facing experience in an agency environment.
• Proven track record in developing and managing large, complex suppliers, projects, and teams.
• Excellent oral/written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and managing large budgets.
• Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly and climb ladders as required.
