The Graphic Digital Designer is responsible for creating digital advertising, email graphics, and e-commerce banners in both static and animated formats using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for Macs. All design solutions must adhere to the Harbor Freight visual brand guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create digital advertising campaigns that can be executed across multiple formats and platforms.
• Responsible for creating motion graphics in support of video team.
• Develop and execute compelling high-impact designs on a consistent basis.
• Leverage a solid understanding of brand guidelines.
• Review final proofs for all projects.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Scope:

• Staff supervision and development – No
• Decision Making – Provide data and information for decision support
• Travel - 10%; may travel to trade show no more than once per year, domestic travel only.
• Location - Remote

Requirements

Job Qualifications –

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or Design is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a graphic designer in-house, or graphic/ad agency

Job Qualifications –

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of design principles and strategies.
• Expert-level experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, After Effects)
• Advanced Photoshop compositing skills is a plus
• Entertainment design experience a plus
• Experience with 3D programs, such as KeyShot is a plus
• Proven project management skills with the ability to organize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of digital workflows
• Very organized and able to prioritize
• Possess good time management practices
• Must be able to communicate design ideas with a clear and articulate approach
• Must demonstrate a great attitude and a serious work ethic
• Ability to collaborate as a team member
• Ability to remain flexible with regard to changing priorities
• Ability to work longer hours when needed to meet business needs
• Ability to consistently generate innovative design ideas

Physical Requirements:

General office environment requiring ability to:

• stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time;

• speak and listen to others in person, via digital meeting (such as Zoom) and over the phone;

• use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports;

• lift up to 15 lbs.

• The anticipated rate for this position is $40.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. Associates can accrue paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law. The Company observes 100 hours of paid holiday time.
