Job Description

Looking for an experienced part-time/contract graphic designer on a freelance remote basis for packaging design, print design, and general graphics, with fluent skills in Illustrator and Photoshop. Current needs are for designing food consumer packaging products. Previous experience in food packaging or packaging… required.

Responsibilities

• Concept and design print ready artwork for CPG (consumer packaged goods) products, promotional materials, advertisements, brochures, sales sheets, posters, stickers, trade show display items, etc.
• Assist with print process (i. e. proofing, printer communication, color adjustments, etc.)
• Work closely with small team to implement changes or develop concepts in a swift and timely manner.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines is a must.

Skills

• Fluent in Illustrator and PhotoShop.
• InDesign and others are a nice plus.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment (i. e. most requests are to be completed in days, not weeks, small little requests are same day/next type turnaround).
• Ability to take requests and be self motivated to follow through yet be able to work as part of a team within the company at all levels.
• Have experience in taking your creative designs from concept to print including full understanding of the print production process with CPGs.
• Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Team player - Looking for someone that easy going, open taking direction, has creative ideas to bring to the table and keeps up with best practices and trends.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience

• Graphic design: 2 years (Required)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (Preferred)
