What youβll do
The Marketing Department is actively seeking a dynamic freelance and/or in-house Graphic Designer. Are you someone who is passionate about culture and people, driven by purpose, and creative in your approach? If so, keep on reading. Your job will be to build a deep understanding of our clients brands, our brand, and the TMD approach and create and implement world class brands to help us maximize impact. Youβll be responsible for assisting with brand development, creative brainstorming, and the execution and implementation of brand standards and creative ideas to drive business results. This position will report directly to the CCO and will partner with other key stakeholders to support TMDβs growth and overall business goals.
Tasks include:
- You should have a strong knowledge base of graphic design and designing within web, digital, social media platforms, along with excellent layout and typographic skills for packaging and print
- Ability to design in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and collaborate with quick turn around times
- Strong ability to story tell with a specific voice and tone
- Concept ideation and designs for creative assets
- Experience designing and creating mock-ups for merchandise and printed collateral
- Ability to design creatively and out of the box, while being able to execute within style guides
- Highly experienced in taking creative ideas and translating them to visual presentations, specifically through Canva, Powerpoint, and Keynote
- Professionalism and ability to execute at a high level while meeting deadlines
- This person will work closely with our CCO and brand partners to achieve design goals across all projects by working with their deadlines and completing their requests
- You will design various types of digital, print, & social content, as well as merchandise
- Conceptualize and design branded digital content for Social and web platforms, including media such as static & motion graphics
- Ability to ideate & design products for merchandise
- Ability to conceptualize and execute high-end, visually stimulating content utilizing graphic design, video, and motion graphics while managing timelines
- Work cross functionally to create presentations for outside events, office events, branded content and more
- Knowledge of designing & packaging files for print for marketing materials and merchandise
- Deliver high-quality, compelling designs, edit, resize, reformat existing materials to fit new requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of digital design experience at a branded content studio, creative advertising agency or editorial publishing company
- A portfolio demonstrating work across design, typography, and visual communications
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of working within established brand guidelines
- Fast-working, professional, collaborative, and able to deliver in a timely manner
- Possess interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Quick learner with a close attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written
- Fluent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and have experience with basic motion graphics using After Effects
- Proven graphic design experience in social, digital platforms; must provide link to your portfolio- linked on resume is acceptable
