We are looking for talented audio engineers to help us record at various venues in the Atlanta area. We give children in need the opportunity to write/illustrate stories about anything they want. We distribute those stories to songwriters who turn them into songs and send them back to the kids.

About Us:

• SMAS is a nonprofit organization that connects children in need with musicians and artists to create meaningful, transformative experiences through storytelling and music.
• We have partnered with various venues in Atlanta to bring artists on tour the opportunity to record songs for local kids in need.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain a small recording setup backstage for artists to record.
• Record and edit audio for songs created by children and musicians.
• Collaborate with other audio engineers and production staff to ensure high-quality recordings.

Requirements:

• Professional experience with audio recording and editing software, such as Pro Tools or Logic Pro.
• Experience setting up and maintaining recording equipment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with artists and production staff.
