What Youâll Get to Do:
- Work with creative teams to conceptualize, plan, visualize, design, shoot, and edit multi-media (audio/visual) productions.
- Manage technical resources and provide technical and creative support for multi-media productions.
- Work with directly with clients and production teams to collaboratively complete on-location and studio productions.
More About the Role:
Sometimes youâll work with other creative professionals as part of a larger project, but often youâll work individually on productions that range from one day to several months. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, attention to detail and meeting deadlines are expectations for this position, as are maintaining effective and direct communication skills with customers, coworkers and senior leadership. Whatever the project, youâll be expected to help create the necessary elements that tell stories and communicate messages effectively.
Youâll Bring These Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Communications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- 5+ years of experience as a multi-media production specialist.
- Creative visual eye.
- Technical expertise in camera and video technology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of audio/video production tools.
- Ability to craft a story from audio/visual elements and assets.
- Demonstrated proficiency with multi-track video and audio editing.
- Basic animation program skills, such as animating text, using speed ramps, creating and modifying transitions, animating 3D cameras, lighting techniques and other similar skills.
- The ability to light and record an interview with a video camera/DSLR.
- Regular practice in prepping for, managing and conducting field and studio interviews.
- An eye for modern production trends and practices
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong creative skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Pro-active communicator and problem-solver with the ability to anticipate issues and provide pre-emptive mitigation.
- Must work well as part of a team and be able to effectively participate as a contributor and as a leader depending on the situation and particular assignment.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
- Experience in multicamera and studio production.
- Experience working on broadcast productions.
- Experience working with online, web-based, and social media products.
- Demonstrated success developing creative concepts and following through to completion.
- Demonstrated success managing clients and receiving consistent positive client feedback.
