Job Description:

American Collegiate Adventures runs pre-college summer programs for high school students. Our students attend courses, participate in activities, and go on weekend excursions to experience and preview college life. We offer a residential program at the University of Vermont.

Position:

Instructor for Social Media Influence: Tik Tok, SnapChat & Instagram

Course Dates and Time:

July 3rd - July 20th. Course times from 11:15am to 12:45pm Monday through Friday.

Course Description:

These days everything — and everyone — is online. This course explains how social media has not only revolutionized the social fabric, but also how to create a one-of-a-kind social media experience. Explore how individuals and companies use social media to increase their fame, following and value. Examine the business plans of the major social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Tik Tok. This class will also explore how individuals and companies build successful brands across various platforms and the big question – what makes a post go viral? Instructors will create their own syllabus to be approved by ACA based off the course description.

Pay:

Pay rate for each 3-week course: $450. Additional one-time preparation stipend of $100. Total pay for the course: $550.
