Job Summary

Short term position for a graphic designer to create customized Power Point templates for the A+ and CIBS grants and animate project logos. Design Google documents for both grant projects and work with project staff to create other customized templates that can be used for professional presentations, online documents, flyers, and other outreach materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven graphic design experience
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Eye for aesthetics
  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Special Instructions for Applicants

Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment. Employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University. However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University’s supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment. In addition, extra help employees may only work up to 900 hours total during their employment.

Be specific on your work history, including employment dates (if part-time you must list the number of work hours) and duties for all positions held. Applicable part-time work experience will be considered toward qualifying for this position; however, it will be converted to a full-time equivalency to determine combined length of experience.
