We’re looking for a 2D Animator who can assist us with our upcoming projects. This role will work on games and apps being developed for desktop, consoles, and mobile in Unity and Unreal. The incumbent will initially be responsible for the creation of creature and humanoid animation on our action RPG currently being developed. This is a freelance position and will work on the projects based on need and availability.

You Are:

• A skilled creator with 3+ years of experience working with 2D animation in games, able to bring concept to life.
• Experienced in animating bipeds, and quadrupeds, and odd creatures that don’t conform to these rigs.
• Have 2D rigging experience.
• Excellent at communication and comfortable working with remote teams.
• Flexible and responsive to artistic critiques and requests.
• Self-motivated to work and improve your skills and techniques.

Bonus:

• Have experience working with Unity.
• Have experience implementing animations in engine.
• Based in Los Angeles.
• Games are your life: you work on them and relax with them.
