We are looking for a highly creative and experienced freelance product designer to work with us in developing packaging, figurines, collectibles, and other custom products for content creators. As a freelance product designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing unique and innovative product concepts, prototypes, and final products that meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to identify their product design needs and develop concepts that meet their requirements
• Conduct market research to identify trends, user preferences, and competitor products
• Develop sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of products
• Refine designs and iterate on prototypes based on feedback from clients, production partners, and users
• Create detailed technical specifications and manufacturing instructions (tech packs) for products
• Develop technical printing/production materials, including artwork files, print-ready files, and detailed color specifications
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that products are produced to the highest quality standards
• Test and evaluate products to ensure that they meet design and functional requirements
• Maintain project schedules and budgets and communicate progress and challenges to clients and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in product design, with a focus on packaging, figurines, collectibles, or custom products
• Strong design skills, including the ability to develop concepts, create sketches and 3D models, and produce technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and SolidWorks
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques
• Experience creating tech packs and technical printing/production materials
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• A portfolio of previous work demonstrating your design skills and experience
