Job Title: Senior Production Manager

Reporting to the Director of Events, the Senior Production Manager role will lead logistics and operational planning for the third annual Academy Museum Gala (October 2023). This individual will serve as the key project manager and bridge of communication between museum operating teams and external creative/production teams to ensure all requirements are documented and incorporated into the overall event plan. In addition, this individual will keep and update the master production timeline and distribute regular updates to all teams. This temporary project position will start in July 2023 and end in October 2023.

You Will:

  • Manage and update the master production timeline; collate information across all departments and vendors (from installation through strike).
  • Write and distribute internal works orders for operating teams including Facilities, Engineering, Security, Retail, Theater Operations, and Visitor Experience for event week.
  • Collaborate with the arrivals, transportation, and security teams on arrival and departure logistics.
  • Schedule production calls and site visits with vendors and internal departments.
  • Support logistics and planning at offsite production and parking locations.
  • Track invoices/expenses against the overall project budget; reconcile discrepancies with accounting department.
  • Organize postmortem meetings with all departments by the end of October.
