Overview:

Fitt is a location-based discovery platform that connects people to healthy experiences across fitness, food, outdoors, and events.

About this role:

Fitt is searching for a freelance social video editor to join our multimedia team. In this role, you will work with our team to scale the production of photo and video content for the Fitt app, our social channels, and various marketing initiatives.

With hundreds of creators on the ground in cities across the country, multimedia content flows to the freelance editor where, with guidance from a creative director, it’s packaged for specific platforms.

The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, can juggle multiple projects at once, and excels in a fast-paced environment, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Edit assigned content packages each week
• Provide text/copywriting for videos, in addition to editing
• Quickly iterate off of successful videos
• Reframe media for different social channels
• Contribute creatively to the multimedia & social team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Professional experience producing and editing digital content
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Intimate knowledge of social media, audience engagement, and share-worthy content
• Experience creating for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
• Experience with motion graphics/animation/and stop-motion preferred
