Overview and Responsibilities:
Paramount is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Marking Operations to join our Cross Company Marketing Team! Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing Operations, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for two supporting critical lanes: Cross Company Marketing and Special Projects.
- Cross Company Marketing: Work collaboratively with divisions across Paramount to help ensure timely execution of high-profile marketing initiatives and support the Cross Company Marketing team. Assigned campaigns to include, but not limited to theatricals and linear cross-promotion initiatives. The team is responsible for driving alignment across the organization in support of priority initiatives. The Senior Project Manager will work across teams to help request and track assets (e.g.: trailers, billboards, promos, commercials, social assets, key art, etc.) maintain documentation for tracking and status reporting, flag upcoming milestones, prepare next steps, and lead clearance processes.
- Special Projects: Support various areas of focus including but not limited to brand initiatives, existing central councils, and planning and implementation of central Marketing tools/systems that can scale across Paramount Marketing ecosystem. The Senior Project Manager will work across teams to capture the comprehensive landscape of current workflows and requirements, and subsequently collaborate with Tech teams to help facilitate implementation of approved solutions.
The Senior Project Manager will be required to work proactively and independently while using a variety of project management styles and tools.
- Ensure marketing campaigns are fulfilled as planned.
- Lead end-to-end project management for marketing initiatives, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
- Drive cross-functional conversations, collaborating with key partners to confirm support plans and required assets for each campaign beat.
- Flag roadblocks and/or delays to colleagues and provide potential solutions.
- Drive and implement the delivery of priority promos for owned placements, which include cable networks, national broadcast, affiliates, digital, outdoor, audio, and YT live-streams.
- Oversee end-to-end production of home page takeovers and motion graphics; facilitate communication between producing group and trafficking departments.
- Lead Standards & Practices clearance process, ensuring all promos are routed to reviewers and approvals are logged.
- Handle creation of critical cross company marketing team documents, prompting colleagues for input. Documents include campaign timelines, briefs, marketing plans, delivery info, and tactics.
- Create presentation materials by synthesizing key points of information.
- Schedule meetings for assigned projects, help set agenda/capture recap, and set/communicate next steps to stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve marketing processes, tools, and workflows to streamline operations and improve team efficiency.
- Research imminent vendors and immerging capabilities in pertinent landscapes.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of project management or production experience within an entertainment, agency, or marketing environment
- Experience running large scale 360 marketing campaigns
- Ability to keep up with an extremely high volume of work
- Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with managing briefing documents and requesting custom creative assets
- Remain calm in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while setting and maintaining key priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of diplomacy
Additional Qualifications:
- Familiarity with A/V (video and motion graphic) specifications
- Tools: knowledge of Asana, Airtable, SAP, Slack, and On-Air promos
- A positive, can-do mindset
- Superior problem-solving and anticipation skills
- Ability to operate quickly and calmly within a large, matrixed organization
- Able to assess and improve workflows and processes
