Job Description

REALTIME are on the lookout for a talented Senior level Nuke artist to work across a couple of really exciting projects in our Episodic department. As a Senior Compositor at REALTIME you will be responsible for all stages of compositing from prep to completion. Working on either a single shot or a sequence of shots within a larger scene. You should have a great eye for composition and colour and be passionate about delivering the best-looking shots possible.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team under the direction of VFX Supervisors and comp/sequence leads.
• Ability to take a brief and execute the brief, with both good creative problem-solving and strong technical knowledge, within the allotted timescale.
• Have a good working knowledge of all compositing disciplines, including 2D tracking (Mocha and Nuke), 3D camera tracking (Nuke), green screen extraction, paint and rotoscoping, grading, relighting, projection and deep compositing.
• Experience of compositing CG/live action elements into live action back plates.
• Attend dailies when required.
• Assist with the development of junior/mid-level compositors.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience in a similar role within Episodic or Advertising projects.
• Nuke experience is essential.
• Proven ability to work closely in a small team with tight deadlines.
• Prioritize and manage your time well, being able to complete your own work on time.
• Must be well organized with good people skills.
• Excellent and clear communication skills.
• Good understanding of the English language both written and verbal.
