Job description

• I am looking for a UX Designer to join a well-known broadcasting company for a 6-month contract.
• Day Rate: £500
• Inside IR35
• Hybrid - 2 days on-site in West London

What you’ll do:

• Support the Lead and Senior UX designers in shaping the day-to-day delivery and forward-looking UX direction for company products, ensuring it’s in line with wider product and brand strategy and constantly breaking new ground.
• Demonstrate an ability to come up with innovative ideas, solve problems creatively and shape these into logical, coherent solutions that center around our customer’s needs.
• Execute UX Design work that adheres to best practice UCD and brand standards across the company product portfolio.
• Work on key work streams within the UX Design Team.
• Help to maintain an efficient design delivery process, through regular clear communication with delivery teams and consistently delivering to schedule.
• Demonstrate a knowledge and desire to investigate, innovate and develop emerging design, UX, and technology trends.
• Collaborate with design, product, and development teams in order to create new experiences and evolve patterns.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience with a specific focus on UX design.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in order to convey complex design concepts clearly to different delivery skill sets within the organization.
• Good experience of UCD design principles and methodologies, with an ability to create user journeys, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Good understanding of UCD, human interface guidelines, standards, and best practices as they apply to various platforms and devices.
• Experience of running discovery & design workshops, helping drive alignment and innovation through experiences we deliver.
• A keen eye for maintaining consistency of company UX guidelines, principles, templates, and assets.
• Proficient with the latest tools and software such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience designing for TV or Mobile.
