About the Role

Teaching experience preferred, not required. We seek an experienced Film and Video Production professional to join our education team as a part-time instructor in the morning or evenings! Must have experience in video production, Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop, as your primary focus is instructing this to the next generation of Film & Video Production professionals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teaching Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop in an engaging format
• Inspire and support students with a “hands-on” and active approach as they progress through coursework
• Teaching practical hands-on methods for using cameras, lighting, and audio production equipment
• Focus on student creativity to achieve high-quality results with class video projects
• Inspire and support students as they progress through our video program
• Fine-tune curriculum as directed and contribute to the creation of engaging lesson plans inside of Canvas
• Create a safe, supportive, creative, and dynamic environment for students

Recommended Requirements

• 2+ years of teaching experience preferred
• 5+ years of field-related experience or 3+ years of experience with relevant accredited certification or degree
• Instructors shall have completed postsecondary training in either a state-licensed school or a college accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education plus one year of job experience related to the subjects taught; or have completed a minimum of three years of successful job experience directly related to the subjects taught
• Professional working experience with Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Deep passion for mentorship and helping others of all learning types
• On-set production experience with lighting, audio, and cinematography
• Passionate about inspiring, mentoring, and helping others learn
• Flexible schedule

Requirement

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years experience or a diploma in higher education

Preferred (But Not Required) Candidate Qualifications

• Formal education in a related career field preferred
• BlackMagic DaVinci Resolve experience
• Experience with live production and streaming
• Demo Reel or portfolio available upon request

Salary Range

$19 to $22 an Hour!

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at our facility physically
