About the role:
At NYTAdvertising, our mission is to elevate brands through the worldâs most premium ad experiences. At T Brand Studio, we are a growing team of creative writers, strategists, videographers, designers and developers creating branded content across all of The New York Timesâ advertiser verticals. As a TEMP Program Manager for T Brand Studio, you will work on daily project management, responsible for managing two workstreams (Advertorials and Creative Technology).
This is a New York City based position, reporting into our HQ location. This is a hybrid role; 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
What youâll do:
Workstream: Creative Technology Project Manager
- You will help us enable seamless collaboration between design and creative technology (web engineering) teams by planning project timelines, arranging meetings, and keeping the team on time and on task
- You will assist engineers with gathering information from cross-functional stakeholders across Ad Product, Ad Experience, The Athletic, NYT Marketing, and more
- You will facilitate successful sprint planning, adding to and organizing information in JIRA, prioritizing the backlog with team leadership, and more
Workstream: Advertorials Project Manager
- You will connect teams across sales, creative and content production, freelance writers and designers to manage the sales and production lifecycle of the Advertorials print product
- You will oversee team communications and build and track production schedule per advertorial
- You will traffic assets across teams from copy development to print proofs
- You will scope costs and specs based on client buy, track burn rates and conduct regular margin analysis
Basic Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree required
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in project management
- Experience collaborating and building effective working relationships across diverse teams and departments
- Experience balancing competing demands and managing deadlines to ensure successful project outcomes
- Demonstrated experience delivering accurate and precise work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing tickets in JIRA
- Experience with Agile project management
The salary range for this role is between $70,000.00 and 90,000.00.
