About the role

It’s an exciting time to join the Reward team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. To help us build our Change capability, accelerate the delivery of our strategic programmes and drive the adoption of unified Agile ways of working and more effective change delivery across UK&I we’re looking for several talented individuals to join the growing team. We’re recruiting for a Senior Reward Project Lead to lead a strategic and operational review of our local pay frameworks across the organisation. This is initially a 12-month fixed term contract. To be successful in this role, you’ll have demonstrated deep reward expertise working within a large organisation. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work… at least 40% of your week away from home, either at our Bristol or London offices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead a strategic review of Reward and Job Architecture elements of AXA UK’s localised capability development frameworks (excludes the core AXA UK Pay framework)
  • Carry out an ‘as is’ analysis of these elements of all current frameworks in operation (including data analysis) and external best practice
  • Establish strategic ‘to be’ design principles and map these to current frameworks to identify key gaps, ensuring that any potential change aligns with AXA UK’s wider emerging capability strategy
  • Define company-wide criteria and rules/governance standards for both current and new localised pay frameworks
  • Prioritise frameworks for change and help the business to build and if relevant implement appropriate business case(s)
  • Assess how our frameworks should be managed in our people system
  • Manage and counsel senior stakeholders through each stage of the project, in particular our People Directors and business leads.
  • Support other areas of the Reward team as required, including contributing to overall Reward strategy
