Job Summary: What To Expect
The Stage Manager is responsible for coordinate with AV (Audio Visual), the ballroom manager and the speaker concierge to ensure the speaker is ready and the tech is ready to go on our MAIN STAGE with 1000s. You are the Lead Stage Manager and the person that connects everyone together. The Stage Manager will collaborate with AV, producers, and speakersโ concierges to ensure the stage is ready, presentation set, speaker request met, and the agenda stays to time.
Main Responsibilities:
Pre-Event
- Attend dedicated workshops to develop full knowledge of the show to enable to you asking any customer questions onsite and tackle solutions in the moment
- Review and understand all information from event resources provided including downloading the event app to provide you with all the tools onsite
- Understand your roles and responsibilities for the event and ensure you have all the necessary information to deliver upon arrival
Onsite
- Liaise with speaker concierge to ensure the speaker is ready for set up
- Liaise with speaker concierge and AV to ensure the presentation is ready
- Coordinate set of speaker mics and AV or stage requests
- Provide direction for speaker to be stage ready
- Communicate the agenda timings and Q&A plan to the speaker
- Communicate and confirm to Ballroom Manager when speaker is ready to go
- Co-ordinate with AV team to give your speaker the all go to be stage live
- Co-ordinate and update ad-hoc changes with your operations lead and AV team
- Pro-actively troubleshoot ad-hoc issues onsite and lead by example
- Actively monitor all backstage activity to maintain security and quality control throughout
Skills/Experience Required:
- Mandatory experience as a Stage Manager
- Experience at conferences or trade shows
- Knowledge of AV and content delivery
- Pro-active & self-motivated
- Able to take the lead & solve problems
- Customer centric

- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
Compensation:
- Fix rate per working day ($300-$400/day)
- Reduced rate per travel day ($200-$250/day)
- Breakfast, lunch & refreshments included on working days
- $74 per diem for travel
- $50 per diem for show days
- Flights, train, or car costs covered
- Taxi covered for onsite travel requirements
- Hotel nights covered
- Dedicated wellness and staff office
- Event t-shirts provided

- Typical hours: 8am โ 6pm [Subject to change based on schedule]
- Mandatory training will start 6 weeks prior / 1 hour per week
