ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented Creative Motion Designer to join our graphics production team based in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating original concepts, design and typography to service the needs of the News division. This role performs a wide range of duties with a unique blend of design, animation, and communication. This individual must be a strategic and creative thinker, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Motion Graphics designer is responsible for editing and designing graphics for various formats of social media content
• Designs and delivers high-quality motion graphics optimized for video and social media distribution.
• Ensure final graphics are visually appealing and on-brand
• Tracks new content trends and technologies to ensure that content produced remains on the cutting edge.
• Pitch & provide daily trending topics and ideas for original social content
• Implement knowledge of online video & social content best practices to present in the most shareable way for biggest reach and impact.
• Must work with other members of the team to produce larger form pieces.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of broadcast experience creating graphics for news
• Proficient in Adobe Suite. C4D is a plus
• Strong aesthetic sensibility, good use of color
• Able to receive creative direction and accept feedback, yet able to work independently
• Experience working under tight deadlines
• Self-motivated problem solver
• Excel at video production in all its aspects: brainstorming, pitching, writing, editing, color correction, sound design/mixing.
• A reel and online portfolio showcasing numerous examples of current up-to-date work.
• Fluent in Spanish (read and write)
• Understanding of online communities and the impact of social media.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Flexible with schedules and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
