We are currently looking for talented team members to join Hartmann Studios in a contract role for a 6-month project term beginning in October of 2023. This is a contract position.
Position Summary
The Production Manager works on a team with producers and coordinators to define the scope of our clientsโ requests and work with our creative team to design solutions. Once the creative is approved, the Production Manager is responsible for executing the design within budget and aligning all on site needs with the larger technical team. The Production Manager works with all necessary vendors and is responsible for tracking all data during pre-production and on site. This position requires vendor oversight on location in fabrication facilities and client facilities in the metro Atlanta area. Additional work may be required in the Hartmann Atlanta office or remote.
Responsibilities
- Direct responsibility for custom built elements, including fixtures, displays and product demonstration/integration vignettes
- Supervise the installation and product integration into displays being built at scenic shop locations
- Coordinate construction calendar/schedule with each shop for team/client previews based on availability of space
- Coordinate all logistics and schedules for on-site installations
- Advise team members on product acquisition requests and method of shipment
- Manage budget with Production Producer for applicable budget line items
- Coordinate all on site labor
- Coordinate electrical, IT, lighting and rigging through the Operations Producer/Production Producer โ and then with the technical director once closer to show dates โ for finalizing on-site details of each area
- Coordinate with client merchandising vendor team members on daily pre production details
Ideal Experience and Qualifications
In general, we are seeking diplomatic individuals with leadership skills who are organized, able to perform well given aggressive timelines and have a team-player mentality.
- Previous experience with installation and dismantle operations of a large scale trade show or live event project
- General knowledge of electrical, IT, lighting, audio, video & construction
- Client interface as well as labor oversight skills
- Knowledge and experience with labor union rules
- CAD file experience a plus (creation or management of design files provided by others)
- Prior experience with retail clients a plus
Pay: $6,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
