Job Summary

If you are a detail-oriented, self-starter who wants to be a part of a growing team and business - this role is for you! We are looking for a Interior Design Studio Manager with 3-4 years experience to be a part of our growing residential interior design firm. This is a full time position that can be done remotely. This is not a transitional role for those interested in becoming an interior designer. We are looking for someone to be the brains of our operations and help manage the logistical side of things - from spreadsheets to invoices. No design skills needed or required. What is required is a positive attitude, willingness to jump in and be a part of a great team and have some serious love for organization. We are open to new ideas and always looking to improve - and we hope you do too.

Job Details

This role is remote with a flexible work schedule. We are giving preference to those located in the Park City/Salt Lake City region. It will be full time roll ranging between 32-40 hours/week depending on work load with the expectation that those hours will be spread out over a 5 day work week.

Responsibilities

  • Working with team to create and maintain project spreadsheets, schedules and budgets to ensure we’re on time with deliverables and meeting expectations
  • Be responsible for pricing, ordering and tracking all furniture, lighting, accessories and hardware deliverables chosen by the design team
  • Coordinating with outside vendors to request pricing, samples and place orders
  • Generating invoices and purchase orders with our project management software, Ivy (not required knowledge, but a plus) for our clients and vendors
  • Create and manage gant chart for upcoming projects
  • Keeping spreadsheets up to date with design choices and order tracking
  • Managing many details on multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-5 years experience in project management, business or financial management, or procurement of furniture and accessories - experience doing in any of these tasks in an Interior design firm strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Dropbox, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to manage projects from concept to installation and the ability to keep the details organized
  • Desire and ability to take the initiative on the next steps needed throughout the course of a project without having to be asked or micromanaged
  • Great people skills and ability to communicate and maintain good relationships with with outside vendors
  • Must be responsible, reliable and organized
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be able to take feedback positively… because we really do mean it positively!
  • Ability to be a team player at all times and open to wearing a lot of hats on a daily basis. No day looks quite the same and adjusting accordingly is a must
  • Knowledge of wholesale and trade vendors is a plus
  • Knowledge of Ivy or Asana is a plus
  • Past experience in bookkeeping a plus

Pay

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
