Seeking freelance instructional designers

• Assist creative teams in developing industry-leading learning experiences

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply current instructional design theory and best practices
• Work with subject matter experts and clients to collect necessary information
• Conduct learning/training needs assessments
• Write course objectives, design plans, and storyboards
• Design, develop, and implement effective training
• Create visual design and instructional graphics
• Create supplemental material such as videos, simulations, games, etc.
• Create Facilitator and Participant Learning Guides
• Participate in review, revision, and sign-off cycles
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and field training delivery
• Conceptualize and develop evaluation measures
• Assist with development and distribution of operational communications
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Work cross functionally with internal and external resources
• Handle multiple projects concurrently
• Utilize platforms such as Asana, Basecamp 2 and 3, Teams, Dropbox, Slack, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, education, or a related field required
• Master’s degree in instructional design, education or a related field strongly preferred

Experience

• Must have 5+ years’ experience developing and delivering instructor-led training and eLearning for corporate learning
• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with instructional design theory and adult learning principles
• Proven ability to develop engaging and effective training curriculum across numerous platforms and media
• Experience with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
• Experience in multimedia development
