Seeking freelance instructional designers

- Help clients engage audiences, train employees, and market their services
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply current instructional design theory and best practices
- Work with subject matter experts and clients to collect necessary information
- Conduct learning/training needs assessments
- Write course objectives, design plans, and storyboards
- Design, develop, and implement effective training
- Create visual design and instructional graphics
- Create supplemental material such as videos, simulations, games, etc.
- Create Facilitator and Participant Learning Guides
- Participate in review, revision, and sign-off cycles
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and field training delivery
- Conceptualize and develop evaluation measures
- Assist with development and distribution of operational communications
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Work cross functionally with internal and external resources
- Handle multiple projects concurrently
- Utilize platforms such as Asana, Basecamp 2 and 3, Teams, Dropbox, Slack, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, education, or a related field required
- Master’s degree in instructional design, education or a related field strongly preferred
Experience
- Must have 5+ years’ experience developing and delivering instructor-led training and eLearning for corporate learning
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with instructional design theory and adult learning principles
- Proven ability to develop engaging and effective training curriculum across numerous platforms and media
- Experience with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
- Experience in multimedia development
