Job Title:
2D Game Development Course Content Creator
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update engaging content for 2D game development from the engineering, art, and design perspectives.
- Tailor the content for apprentices aged between 12 and 18.
- Teach the principles of 2D game development, including creating a game framework for various types of games such as pong, brix, scrolling platformer, RPG, shooter, etc.
- Provide remote support to apprentices and address their questions.
Qualifications:
- Good in educational content development.
- Good understanding of game development principles and techniques.
- Proficient in at least two of the following: JavaScript, MS Paint, Piskel, Photoshop, and a project management tool to create and manage the course content.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Salary:
$25 - $35 per hour
Schedule:
Part-time temporary, with a 2-month production approximately 20 hours/week period followed by an 8-month support period approximately 5 hours/week.
