About the Role:

We’re hiring a skilled, self-motivated Junior Digital Producer for ActionPark Media’s content team. This person is able to put out strong work on tight deadlines. They have sound editorial judgment, take pride in their work, and have a high attention to detail. They have a background in audio production and/or daily show production. They will create interactive unique multimedia/audio content for Action Park Media’s designated shows, official website, and APM social media platforms. On a daily basis, they will pitch story ideas, book and arrange interviews, write scripts, and work closely with the show’s hosts during recordings. They will also create digital video content that drives visibility, promotion, and revenue for APM, as well as conceptualize, create and support digital content and coverage for various APM shows as needed.

Job Duties:

• Produce episodic and short-form coverage for various APM shows
• Select compelling video clips to drive views and boost audience engagement
• Write, edit, and pitch engaging podcast ideas on a weekly basis
• Assist in the creation of editorial calendars, considering pop culture highlights
• Help to program the APM website and APM YouTube homepages as needed
• Help to direct segment tapings and provide constructive feedback in real time

Qualifications:

• A minimum of three years of experience producing audio for radio or podcasts
• Demonstrated ability to pitch, book, and execute segments in a daily show pace
• Demonstrated ability to work under strict deadlines
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to stay organized and effectively prioritize responsibilities
• Proficiency in ProTools, Adobe Audition, Premier Pro, and Photoshop
• Must have a reel of finished projects and a record of identifying/pitching successful digital video ideas or podcasts

Pay:

$17.00 - $31.00 per hour
