Job Description

Experian Consumer Services (ECS) are the team behind your Experian Free Credit Score, Experian Boost, and the Credit Expert product. We’re looking for a QA Test Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract to be embedded into one of our delivery teams championing quality at all phases of the software development lifecycle.

You will work closely alongside our engineers and the product team to implement effective test solutions that ensure our apps serve our customers in the best way possible. You should be comfortable working across the full stack with an eagerness to learn new skills as required. Quality assurance begins before a single line of code is written – you will look to plug requirements gaps during the refinement process and consider ‘what if’ scenarios.

What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian

We’d expect you to be knowledgeable in these areas:

• Experience of testing within an agile team - working closely with Engineers to achieve sprint goals as well as contributing to planning & retrospectives.
• Drive a quality focused culture and mindset within the team.
• Testing of web applications and microservices.
• Feature/story refinement including supporting with scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Functional and exploratory testing of the products we build.
• Capturing test results/evidence.
• Supporting with the investigation and resolution of product/platform issues.

Desirable knowledge, any of:

• Test automation (e.g. Cypress)
• CI/CD tools such as Git, AWS, Jenkins
• JavaScript
• Postman
• Splunk
• JIRA, Confluence, Slack
