Summary

The NFL is seeking a Social Media Illustrator to create engaging and cutting-edge illustrations for the NFL’s official social platforms, as well as other NFL-affiliated channels, teams, and players. The right candidate has a passion for football, social media and storytelling and has a drive to create new and innovative original content. In this role, you will work with a creative team to execute on both short-term and long-term projects.

Responsibilities

• Create illustrations for the NFL’s official social platforms and other NFL-affiliated social platforms, teams, and players.
• Pitch and conceptualize original content ideas and franchises for NFL social media platforms
• Prepare sketches for approval and complete final illustrations within the deadlines
• Identify important storylines from around the NFL and know how to best tell them to our audience
• Manage the storytelling behind each creative output to ensure it is clear and true to the content

Required Qualifications

• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in Illustration and Digital Painting
• Required proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Must have a portfolio containing Illustrations of varying complexity and style
• Strong life-drawing background with knowledge of anatomy, posing, capturing likeness, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback into revised work

Preferred Qualifications

• Design/Animation Experience is a major plus
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere & After Effects is a major plus
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics

• Knowledge of football and the NFL audience is a major plus
• Must be able to adapt style and approach in order to meet tight deadlines
• Must be able to handle concept changes and accept creative feedback
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Salary / Pay Range
