Who are we hiring?

MSG is looking for a Student Associate to join a groundbreaking post-production department based in Los Angeles. This position would be on the management side of post, responsible for assisting the Director Post Production in facilitating work across the Editorial, Color, Visual Effects and Sound. Daily duties would range from Airtable/Ftrack upkeep to general information flow and management as well as overall process tracking. Additional responsibilities include assisting with reviews and helping to manage remote review and playback systems. This role would be on site at our studio in Burbank, CA.

What will you do?

• Assisting with daily post production tasks.
• Helping to manage overall department coordination.
• Tracking workflow and task completion.
• Managing media.
• Assisting with internal and external reviews.
• Quality control of work-in-progress timelines and existing assets.

What do you need to succeed?

• Experience with Airtable, Microsoft Office (Sharepoint/One Drive, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Zoom, Ftrack or Shotgrid, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Avid.
• Experience with data and file management systems.
• Understanding of media formats used in production and post-production.
• Experience in production and post production is desired.
• Experience with VR or 360º content is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, follow through, and ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take criticism, and work under tight deadlines.
• Must take a proactive and initiative driven approach.
