The Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator will assist in project coordination both remotely and on-site and work with stakeholders across the company to produce videos in a timely manner. The role will require admin work including helping secure vendors and contracts and well as post production work.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Work with the Marketing Editor, Multimedia to develop production strategies for each project.
  • Work with Marketing Services to identify personnel and resources needed to complete each project.
  • Work with Marketing Services to schedule, assign and track all production and post-production tasks.
  • Work with Curriculum Associates Accounts Payable and Legal departments to onboard production service and equipment vendors.
  • Create and distribute production call sheets.
  • Monitor and support production and post-production activities.
  • Track vendor billing and payment.
  • Discover, create, and implement new and innovative practices to streamline photo and video production coordination.
  • Support the efforts of the Marketing Editor, Multimedia to imbue a sense of esthetics and creativity in all facets of production and post-production.
  • Occasional travel to support location video and photo production.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Video and photo production coordinating experience in commercial or corporate video production environment.
  • Knowledge of photo and video production industry standards and practices.
  • Overarching awareness of production and post-production practices, applications, and technology.
  • Willingness to embrace all modes of communication including email, IM, Zoom, Slack, phone and in-person.
  • Significant experience and success using MS Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to learn and master Brandfolder and Workfront.
  • 3 years of related experience in commercial or corporate video production coordination.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Expertise with Brandfolder and Workfront
  • A significant roster of production and post-production crew and equipment resources.

Benefits and Pay Range:

Pay – This role’s base pay is $25-$30. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
