Location: Denton, United Kingdom

Contract: Temporary

Responsibilities:

• Create and apply theatre makeup to children and youth 6 to 18 years for theatre productions
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Mainstream Theatre Arts brand.
• Collaborate with the director and support team on all special effects, including props, backgrounds, hair, and make-up application.
• Manage all make-up aspects during the show from start to finish including prepping.
• Maintain a clean work environment including washing and organizing makeup and props.
• Collaborate with our amazing team of artists to create unique looks that reflect the needs of the production design.
• Create your own projects based on your creative abilities. We are looking for someone who is open to new challenges. We love working with artists who are creative thinkers!

Qualifications:

• Fully Qualified In Theatre and Media Make-up, with at least 2 years experience in the field of Theatre Make-up Artistry preferred.
• Skilled in Prosthetics an advantage
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Contract length:

4 days

Salary:

£12.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours:

8 per week
