The Video Content Factory is seeking Freelance Camera Operators to join our team!

As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a proactive worker who can assist in generating content, able to easily take direction, and film a variety of different styles including narrative, documentary and also BTS or event based videography. This person granted this position will be responsible for handling video needs either on location, or at the studio under the direction of one of our team or as a solo operator.

The ideal candidate will feel equally comfortable working with a producer and director as a a Camera Operator (meaning able to take direction!) as well as being sent out independently to create content.

You will be REQUIRED to use our Blackmagic or Panasonic Camera Kits and will receive a day of training via our director and DP during the interview process. GIMBAL EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!!!

This position will also travel to provide videography services as needed.

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO DRIVE YOURSELF (and at times our production van) TO AND FROM SHOOT LOCATIONS

FILMING CAN OCCUR AT ANY/ALL TIMES OF THE WEEK INCLUDING DAYS, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.

Production Responsibilities:

• Able to film and execute technical directing in-studio productions as well as act as a camera operator for larger projects
• Filming on-location for clients, independently, or as part of a larger production team
• Event photography and videography (when needed)
• Understanding and ensuring above and beyond coverage for events.
• Gear prep and maintenance
• Behind the scenes videography for TVCF
• Ability to travel when needed is mandatory for all TVCF shoots ( ask for details)

Qualifications:

• Strong ability to produce, direct, operate appropriate camera, lighting and audio techniques.
• Strong videography skills using Black Magic Design cameras as well as audio capturing devices such as Zoom F8.
• Ability to work as a collaborative member of creative, integrated media team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective rapport with clients on both a small, large and corporate scale (including but not limited to HIPPA compliant clients).
• Excellent ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to perform varying shifts, extended hours, and last-minute work demands, if necessary.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
