Responsibilities
- Help maximize linear viewership by strategically planning and scheduling promos in the scheduling system to maximize reach and frequency
- Operate promo optimizer system and analyze data to ensure all campaign goals are met
- Update the linear planning grid with network priorities and stunts and staying up-to-date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate closely with Commercial Operations, Program Operations to ensure log formats and schedule changes are applied to finalize logs
- Plan according to Programming priorities, understand premiere plans, rollout and stunt strategies
- Track schedule changes and updating all respective documents and teams
- Create scheduling elements and screening promos & snipes to ensure the correct elements are delivered for air
- Maintain and update accurate data in on-air scheduling system
- Audit Universal Kids creatives to ensure all content on air are within licensing windows and pivot as needed
- Coordinate promotions through S&P approval as needed for children programming
- Track sponsorship obligations, order elements for air from production and ensure execution of campaign
- Plan and schedule cross channel/symphony priorities supporting key company initiatives including but not limited to: Peacock, Entertainment, Sports, Film, Parks campaigns
- Communicate closely with sister networks for promo priorities and scheduling nuances
- Plan and maintain list of active promos for use on VOD platforms
- Compile and reconcile on-air schedules for post campaign analysis and post-logs for sponsorships, as needed
- Troubleshooting and problem solving, working with all teams to investigate and resolve format discrepancies, missing promos/tags for scheduling needs
- Working with the Media Operations Center and Network Operations Center to resolve last minute promo changes on the log
- Assist in training interns and Pages on snipes/secondary events
- Additional backup scheduling assistance as needed
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, data science, research, film, television or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience working in Programming or Marketing
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills & communication skills
- Excellent quality control abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changes
- Ability to work in multiple timelines concurrently
- Ability to problem solve and find solutions to timely issues
- Self-starter, proactive, resourceful
Eligibility Requirements
- Willingness to work overtime, and on off-hours/weekends with short notice
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
