Location: Remote

Contract: Full Time, Freelance

Responsibilities

  • Help maximize linear viewership by strategically planning and scheduling promos in the scheduling system to maximize reach and frequency
  • Operate promo optimizer system and analyze data to ensure all campaign goals are met
  • Update the linear planning grid with network priorities and stunts and staying up-to-date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate closely with Commercial Operations, Program Operations to ensure log formats and schedule changes are applied to finalize logs
  • Plan according to Programming priorities, understand premiere plans, rollout and stunt strategies
  • Track schedule changes and updating all respective documents and teams
  • Create scheduling elements and screening promos & snipes to ensure the correct elements are delivered for air
  • Maintain and update accurate data in on-air scheduling system
  • Audit Universal Kids creatives to ensure all content on air are within licensing windows and pivot as needed
  • Coordinate promotions through S&P approval as needed for children programming
  • Track sponsorship obligations, order elements for air from production and ensure execution of campaign
  • Plan and schedule cross channel/symphony priorities supporting key company initiatives including but not limited to: Peacock, Entertainment, Sports, Film, Parks campaigns
  • Communicate closely with sister networks for promo priorities and scheduling nuances
  • Plan and maintain list of active promos for use on VOD platforms
  • Compile and reconcile on-air schedules for post campaign analysis and post-logs for sponsorships, as needed
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving, working with all teams to investigate and resolve format discrepancies, missing promos/tags for scheduling needs
  • Working with the Media Operations Center and Network Operations Center to resolve last minute promo changes on the log
  • Assist in training interns and Pages on snipes/secondary events
  • Additional backup scheduling assistance as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, data science, research, film, television or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in Programming or Marketing
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills & communication skills
  • Excellent quality control abilities
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes
  • Ability to work in multiple timelines concurrently
  • Ability to problem solve and find solutions to timely issues
  • Self-starter, proactive, resourceful

Eligibility Requirements

  • Willingness to work overtime, and on off-hours/weekends with short notice
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
